This year, International Hobo is sending two of its stalwart band of consultants to the Moscone Center in San Francisco for GDC, which has been a staple for us since we were founded. This year we’ll mostly be meeting up with old friends, as well as current clients - and a fair number of developers whose publishers brought us for a design audit, and were so impressed with what we do that they wanted to meet with us. Not much spare time on this trip, but do wave in the corridors and bars if you see us.
New Releases
We’re pleased to announce the release of Deck13’s open world adventure Atlas Fallen, which features an innovative combat and movement system based upon sand. Also, Team 17 and vTimes’ hilarious VR robot checkpoint sim Border Bots VR, which we worked on from concept to delivery. Not to mention the spooky alternative history action RPG Banishers: Ghost of New Eden, by Life is Strange dev Don’t Nod, which has a really unusual combat system. It was a pleasure to be involved in these projects, all of which are out now!
As for this year, March has only just begun and we’ve already worked on eight different game projects, making this the busiest Spring in the company’s history!
If you’re not at GDC, we’re also going to be at Develop and Gamescom later this year - hope to catch you somewhere, somewhen!
